Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence Showcases Agri NexusHub at Cyprus Water Management Event
Mr. Stelios Neophytides and Dr. Marinos Eliades, team members of the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence participated in the “Visualising Cyprus Water Management Strategies” event on 3 December 2024, organized by Chrysalis LEAP.
During the event, Stelios presented the “Agri NexusHub”, an innovative tool developed by the Big Earth Data Analytics Department of our Centre in collaboration with the Water Research Cluster.
This innovative tool provides daily calculations of reference evapotranspiration and crop evapotranspiration to support water resources management. Utilizing novel digital technologies such as Earth Observation and Data Analytics, it offers valuable insights to farmers, farming companies, and local authorities.
