Biography

Francesco Scarlatti is currently an Assistant Researcher at the Atmosphere group of the Environmental and Climate department at Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence (ECoE). He is participating in projects that have the aim to bring Remote Sensing advanced knowledge to the group. His bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics have been obtained at the University Sapienza of Rome. After, he entered the world of IT in private companies to acquire data analysis and data science skills. He then went back to academic world to apply his IT knowledges to the Remote sensing field during a PhD spent in the University of Valencia, still ongoing. His interests are wide in the scientific domain spacing from IT to atmospheric science in which he shows enthusiastic approach in the task of improving his personal and others’ skills.
