Biography

Panagiotis Vasiliou is a member in the Department of Resilient Society in the Disaster Risk Reduction cluster. He holds a Meng from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), from the School of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering (SRSE). In the last year of his studies, he focused on Spatial Planning and Environmental Management, with a diploma thesis title «Development of a methodology for the conversion of urban municipalities into cities of 15 minutes. The case of three municipalities of the Attica region». Currently, he is pursuing an MSc in Geoinformatics and Earth Observation at Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). His research interests are comprised in the field of Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, GIS and Sustainability.
