Stavroula Dimitriadi is a researcher Assistant A’ at ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence of the Cyprus University of Technology in the Environment and Climate department of the Study of the Agriculture cluster team. She graduated from the University of Crete with a Bachelor’s degree in Bimolecular Science and Biotechnology. She holds Master of Science in the department of Agriculture Biotechnology in Cyprus University of Technology. Stavroula’s Master thesis focused on Evaluation of the impact of soil from organic and conventional cultivation on fungal wilt pathogens of tomato plants. Currently she is a PhD candidate in the department of Agriculture Biotechnology in Cyprus University of Technology in the study of Investigation of soil suppressiveness against tomato fungal wilt pathogens in Cyprus. Her research interests are in the Study of Agriculture such as plant phytopathology, soil microbiome and climate change. As research assistant A’ ate ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence, she is involved in CARBONICA project focusing on carbon sequestration and carbon farming practices.
