ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence Welcomes the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Cyprus

On Monday, 26 October 2026, the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence had the honour of welcoming H.E. Ambassador Jana Hybášková of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Cyprus, together with the Embassy’s Consular Officer and Political & Economic Officer, at our premises in Limassol. We presented the Centre’s work in Earth observation, space technologies and geospatial research, and discussed concrete opportunities for closer bilateral cooperation between the Czech Republic and Cyprus in the domain. Prof. Andreas Anayiotos, Dr. Andreas Christofe and Andreas Andreou represented the Centre, and we look forward to building a strategic collaboration with the Ambassador and her delegation. Our thanks to Ambassador Hybášková and the Czech Embassy team for a warm and engaging visit — we look forward to working more closely together.
