Presentation of Earth Observation applications (including funded projects), benefits of using CopernicusEU and the Excelsior2020eu Phase 2 Project at the Gymnasium of Polis Chrysochous, Pafos (17.12.2019)

On the 17th of December 2019, Prof. Diofantos Hadjimitsis made a presentation of the EXCELSIOR Project to the students of the Gymnasium of Polis Chrysochous in Pafos. The purpose of his presentation was to promote the benefits of establishing ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence for Earth Surveillance and Space-Based Monitoring of the Environment for the students and scientific staff in Cyprus as well as to familiarize them with the objectives and scope of the Project and the terms of Remote Sensing and Earth Observation. He also wanted to highlight the benefits of using CopernicusEU data along with the job opportunities that the project will offer in the near future for the new generation.
