Business Development and Technology Commercialization Officer

Biography

Andreas Andreou (MBA, Chemical Engineering) is a strategic business development professional currently serving as Business Development and Technology Commercialization Officer at Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence. With over 15 years of experience, he has led cross-sectoral collaborations and supported innovation projects in more than 20 countries across Europe, North America, China, and the Middle East. His expertise includes net zero technologies, circular economy solutions, and the integration of AI and digital tools into industrial systems and smart factories. Andreas has held leading roles in business development, corporate strategy, project management, and plant operations, particularly in the dairy, oil and gas, and green energy sectors. He has also contributed to vocational and skills-based education initiatives, designing problem-based learning models that promote green, digital, and leadership competencies. In addition to his technical and strategic work, he is a member of ETEK, a founding board member of the Cyprus-Baltic States Business Association under the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and an active member of the Cyprus-German Business Association. His multidisciplinary education includes a diploma in chemical engineering, a master’s degree in environment and development, and an MBA, equipping him to deliver integrated solutions for complex industrial and environmental challenges.
