Biography

Dr Eleni Loulli (f) is a Researcher C at both the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence and the Cyprus University of Technology. She holds a BSc and MSc in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and a PhD in Radar Meteorology and Remote Sensing from the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT).  Her research interests include remote sensing applications in agriculture, sustainable water resources management, precipitation and climate change monitoring. Since March 2018, Eleni has been actively involved in numerous research projects funded under Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, INTERREG, PRIMA, ERASMUS+, the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), and ESA-PECS (e.g., SIROCCO, EXCELSIOR, CEOPS, Space EDUnity CARBONICA, CERBERUS etc.).  She also engages in outreach activities that promote Earth observation from space and the Copernicus programme, including delivering presentations in secondary schools and governmental departments.
