Communication, Event and Social Media Officer
Eliana ILIOFOTOU is currently serving as the Communication, Events, and Social Media Officer at ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence. Eliana holds a BSc in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business, an MA in European Studies from the University of Exeter, UK, and an MBA from the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM). With 18 years of extensive professional experience, Eliana is a senior expert in communication, dissemination, and project management of EU-funded projects, complemented by her proficiency in content creation, social media, and events management.
Since 2012, she has been working at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) as the Manager of the Europe Direct Limassol Center. In this leadership role, she has collaborated with the European Commission to deliver impactful communication campaigns. Beyond her primary role, Eliana has contributed to various projects and sectors within CUT, demonstrating her versatility and expertise. Notably, she served as the Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager for three years at the Promotion and Communication Department of CUT, where she led online communication strategies, digital marketing campaigns, content creation, and media relations.
In her role at the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence, Eliana is dedicated to leveraging her extensive experience to enhance the Centre’s outreach, ensuring its vision and achievements are effectively communicated to a global audience.
