Dr. Georgios Christodoulou is a Project Manager at the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence, with over 15 years of experience in scientific research and the management of research and innovation projects. He holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Liverpool and has held leading roles in major international projects across Europe, United States, Japan, and Africa. Dr. Christodoulou has authored more than 100 scientific publications and was awarded a research fellowship at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Switzerland. His project management expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, from proposal development and strategic planning to implementation, monitoring, and reporting. He has successfully managed projects under key European programmes including FP7, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, and Erasmus+, as well as national initiatives funded by the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF). He was awarded the 2016 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics as a member of the T2K international collaboration in Japan.
