Georgios Konstantinos NESTORAS

Assistant Researcher

Biography

Georgios Konstantinos (Akis) Nestoras is a Software Engineer and Geoinformatics Expert, specializing in Web GIS development and geospatial infrastructure projects. He works with Python, ArcGIS Pro, and spatial databases to design system architectures, develop custom APIs, and automate geospatial workflows for public organizations and municipalities. He holds a Diploma in Spatial Planning and Development from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc in Geomatics from TU Delft. With a strong background in GIS, remote sensing, and urban planning, he combines technical expertise with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, delivering innovative and efficient spatial solutions.
