Lambros SAVVA

Lambros builds things to understand them. At 13, that meant assembling a computer and wiring a Raspberry Pi car that streamed live video over WiFi; now it means designing an arbitrary waveform generator from scratch, with dual-core C firmware on an RP2040, a discrete op-amp output stage, and his own PCB in KiCad, or pushing an electromagnetics model beyond what the assignment asked, with tools he wrote himself, to see what’s really going on underneath. He studies Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. While his coursework spans the breadth of analog and digital electronics, his fascination lies at the precise boundary where they meet: the point where metal traces on a plastic board start “thinking” and become programmable. That instinct runs back through a custom AM receiver PCB he designed, fabricated, and brought to life, and further still to leading robotics teams to podium finishes in national competitions as a teenager. Between school and university, he served as a Second Lieutenant in the National Guard, leading a team through daily operations, an early lesson in responsibility for something larger than a circuit. Who is he? The kid who opened everything up to look inside, curious to discover, to understand. Who is he becoming? The best version of himself, in mind and in discipline. His dream is simple: the freedom to build, to grow, and one day to have the resources and experience to change something real.
