Paschalis-Panagiotis Apostolidis is a Forestry and Natural Environment professional with academic and practical experience in forest health, plant pathology, environmental data analysis and forest ecosystems. He graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he developed a strong academic background in forestry and completed a research project focusing on the phytosanitary assessment of trees and shrubs in urban and university environments. His practical experience includes three years of field training at the University Forest of Taxiarchis, practical experience at the Thessaloniki Forest Service, and an Erasmus+ traineeship at BOKU University in Vienna within the Department of Forest Pathology and Entomology. Through these experiences, he has developed skills in field data collection, identification of forest species and ecosystems, plant health assessment, environmental data analysis and scientific research. He is also proficient in computer applications including Excel, Access, SPSS, PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop. Fluent in English (C2) and with good knowledge of German, he is a motivated, determined and enthusiastic professional with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. His main interests include forest health, remote sensing, environmental data analysis and the application of modern technologies to forestry and environmental management.
