Vaia TSIROU

Assistant Project Manager

Biography

Vaia Tsirou is currently working as a Project Manager Assistant at the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence in Limassol, Cyprus, supporting the coordination, implementation and monitoring of EU-funded and research projects. With a strong background in Environmental and Energy Engineering, she brings structured project management expertise and technical knowledge to multidisciplinary initiatives focused on sustainability and innovation. Before joining the Centre, Valeria managed and coordinated large-scale renewable energy projects, including photovoltaic (PV) and BESS systems, overseeing all stages from design and licensing to execution and delivery. She successfully supervised multiple projects annually, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, technical specifications, and environmental standards. Holding a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and an MSc in Energy Building Design, she combines analytical thinking with strategic planning skills and effective stakeholder engagement, contributing to the successful delivery of complex, interdisciplinary projects.
