Ground Station Software Engineer
Valentinos Evripidou is currently serving as Software Engineer at the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence, where he focuses on the design, development, and maintenance of software systems supporting satellite ground station operations. His work is strongly software-oriented, involving the development of scalable back-end services, data processing pipelines, and system integrations that enable efficient acquisition, management, and dissemination of Earth Observation data. With over 15 years of experience in software engineering and leadership roles, he has led technology teams in designing and delivering innovative digital products across multiple domains. He brings deep expertise in building robust, scalable systems and driving technical strategy, combining hands-on development with leadership in complex, multidisciplinary environments. He has contributed to the implementation of modern technologies and architectures, including cloud-based infrastructures, automation workflows, and high-performance data processing systems, ensuring reliability and performance in mission-critical environments.
