Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence Delegation Visits German Aerospace Center, DLR in Neustrelitz, as part of a Secondment focused on the development of Maritime Security applications and services (27-29 November 2024).
As part of a Secondment focused on the development of Maritime Security applications and services, the ERATOSTHENES delegation had an engaging and productive visit to DLR’s premises.
During the visit, the team:
Reviewed software processing workflows.
Discussed the Data Acquisition Satellite Receiving Station (DAS) Interface.
Planned the next steps for implementing the DAS in Cyprus. This revolutionary infrastructure will significantly support the local and international research community, marking a milestone for the EMMENA region.
This collaboration allowed ERATOSTHENES experts to work closely with DLR specialists, exchanging invaluable insights and sharing experiences on technical challenges. We sincerely thank DLR for their warm hospitality, exceptional expertise, and productive collaboration. The Secondment was highly successful, representing a key step forward in advancing this critical sector under the EXCELSIOR Project.
