French Embassy and Cyprus Space Office Representatives Visit EarthView Cyprus Satellite Data Acquisition Station

We were delighted to welcome representatives of the French Embassy in Cyprus and the Cyprus Space Office to the EarthView Cyprus Satellite Data Acquisition Station, located at the CYTA Teleport in Pera Orinis. The visiting delegation included Commander Nicolas Fredon, Defence Attaché at the French Embassy in Cyprus, Ms. Luna Le Morvan, Chargée de Mission Enjeux Globaux at the French Embassy, and representatives of the Cyprus Space Office.

The delegation was hosted by representatives of the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence and CYTA, who provided a guided tour of the EarthView station and presented its satellite data acquisition capabilities, technological infrastructure, ongoing activities, and future development plans.

The visit also offered a valuable opportunity to exchange views on potential strategic partnerships and explore new avenues for cooperation between France and Cyprus in the fields of space, Earth Observation, defence, security, and advanced technologies.

We sincerely thank our guests for their visit and the constructive discussions on opportunities for future collaboration.

We look forward to strengthening these connections and welcoming you again soon!
